James D. “Jim” Oates Posted on May 29, 2019 0 James D. “Jim” Oates Age, 80 Kenton A celebration of life for James D. “Jim” Oates will be at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 30, at the Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton by Pastor Steve Walter, the Rev. Jody Oates and Pastor Jim Oates. There will be a private family burial on Friday at the Wolf Creek Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 p.m. until the time of the service on Thursday. Jim died on Monday, May 27, 2019 at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima. Memorial contributions can be made to Epworth United Methodist Church in Kenton.
