Nearly 70,000 FFA members gathered in Indianapolis, Ind., for the 96th National FFA Convention and Expo last week. At the convention, members heard keynote speakers, met with industry professionals, and saw the National FFA officer team.

One of the key sessions at the convention is the American Degree Ceremony held on Saturday, Nov. 4, where former Kenton-OHP FFA members Chloe Anderson and Devan Dulin earned their American FFA Degree. The American FFA Degree is a sign of lots of hardwork and dedication to a project.

The requirements to earn the American FFA Degree are set forth in the National FFA Constitution. To be eligible to receive the American FFA Degree, members must meet qualifications such as receiving a State FFA Degree, holding active membership for the past three years, completing secondary instruction in an agricultural education program and operating an outstanding supervised agricultural experience program. Community service, leadership abilities and outstanding scholastic achievement are also required.

The Kenton-OHP FFA program congratulates Chloe and Devan on a job well done and a well-deserved degree from the FFA.
