Fords celebrate 65 years
Lewis and June (Titus) Ford of Ridgeway are celebrating their 65th anniversary with a private family dinner.
The couple was united in marriage on August 29, 1943 in the Ridgeway Methodist parsonage by Rev. A.E. Oliver.
Ford is a life-long farmer and Mrs. Ford is a homemaker. They both retired from Ridgemont High School.
They are the parents of Sharyl (Don) Sines and Bob (RoseMary) Ford, both of West Mansfield. They also have six grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. One grandchild is deceased. |
Newmans celebrate 50th|Ron and Jeri
Newman are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
Newman and the former Jeri Allen were united in marriage on Aug. 9, 1958 at the Epworth Methodist Church in Kenton by Minister Richard Baker.
Newman is the son of the late Dick and Doris(Decker) Newman of Kenton. He is retired from Rockwell International.
Mrs. Newman is the daughter of the late Cliff and Freda (Dorman) Allen. She is retired from the Mary Lou Johnson Hardin County District Library.
The couple are the parents of four children: Todd (Sharon) of Kenton; David (Sandie) of Findlay; Kelli (Mark) Myers of Hilliard and Doug (Cassi) of Delaware. They also have six grandchildren: Michael (Missy) Newman of Kenton; Lindsay Newman (Brad Adamic) of Lake Elsinore, Calif.; Luke and Grace Myers of Hilliard and Cati and Sydney Newman of Delaware; two step-grandchildren, Michael Jones of Findlay and Stephanie Jones of Detroit and five great-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.
A family dinner was held at Der Dutchman Restaurant in Plain City and a celebration held at the home of Mark and Kelli Myers. |
Musgraves celebrate 50th
Norman "Pete" and Shirley Musgrave of Forest are celebrating their 50th weddinganniversary.Musgrave and the former Shirley Ratliff were united in marriage Aug. 2, 1958 at the United Methodist Church in Forest by the Rev. Brewster.
Musgrave is the son of the late Elmer and Ruth Musgrave. He is retired from Airfoil Textron in Lima after 35 years.
Mrs. Musgrave is the daughter of the late Leslie and Betty Ratliff. She is employed at Dr. Joan Musgrave's Dental office.
The couple are the parents of three children: Allen of Forest, Joe (Sandy) and Scott (Joan) all of Upper Sandusky. They also have six grandchildren: Kevin, Ryan, Gyen, Clay, Abby and Sam.
A celebration for family and friends will be held at Wood's Restaurant hosted by their children. |
Steeles celebrate 50th
James and Shirley Steele of Dunkirk are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
Steele and the former Shirley Tracy were united in marriage Aug. 3, 1958 in Lakeview.
Steele is the son of the late Clarence and Leah Steele. He is retired from the Findlay City Schools after 36 years as a physics instructor.
Mrs. Steele is the daughter of the late Hershel and Goldie Tracy. She retired from Ohio Northern University Law School.
They are the parents of four children: James M. (Connie) Steele of Van Wert; Judith (Thomas) Brown of Columbus; Karen (Eric) Coppock of Bowling Green and Lisa (Richard) Watkins of Williamsport. They also have three grandchildren: Matthew and Molly Steele and Anna Watkins.
A family dinner and trip to Myrtle Beach will be held in celebration. |
Cochrans celebrate 60th
Curby and Edith Cochran, CR 240, Mount Victory, are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary.
Cochran and the former Edith Parthemore were united in marriage on Aug. 8, 1948 at the Union Baptist Church in West Jackson.
Cochran is the son of the late Jay and Ethel (Head) Cochran. He is retired from Rockwell International and was in the Harry Davidson Motorcycle business.
Mrs. Cochran is the daughter of the late Archie and Mary (Metz) Parthemore. She is a housewife and was a partner in their motorcycle business.
They are the parents of two daughters: Penny (Michael) Wells of Mount Victory and Peggy (Phil) Hoghe of Fort Wayne, Ind. They also have three grandchildren: Cassie (Rob) Kilgore, Jay (Shawnna) Mentzer, Cary (Lauren) Hoghe. They also have three great-grandchildren.
An anniversary dinner will be held with the immediate family. |
